Your most convenient railway station is Northwich Railway Station although if you are taking a taxi to the Gardens you may find faster journey times by travelling to Hartford.

If you enjoy walking and would like a taste of Cheshire’s unique heritage .....

The Warrington Borough Transport Route 45 service takes you direct from Northwich Railway Station to the quaint village of Great Budworth.

After alighting the bus you will walk past the old village pump, the stocks and the charming Church of St Mary’s and then out across the fields to Arley Hall & Gardens. You will even pass a welcoming Ice Cream Farm.

The walk is about 2.5 miles and will take about 40 minutes.

If you choose to go by taxi, the journey is just less than 7 miles from Northwich Railway Station and will take about 15 minutes under normal traffic conditions. From Hartord Railway Station it is 9.5 miles and will take about 20 minutes.
