Getting to Tatton Park Gardens

Why not leave the car at home and travel to Tatton Park by Train.

Your most convenient railway station is Knutsford Railway Station. 

Tatton Park Gardens is then about 50 minutes away on foot or 10 minutes by taxi. 

On Sundays and Bank Holidays, from Easter to August Bank Holiday Monday, the Baker Bus Route 27 from Macclesfield takes you direct to Tatton Park Gardens from outside the railway station. 

If you are visiting the RHS Show Tatton Park between Wednesday 21st July and Sunday 25th July 2010, there is a Courtesy Bus from the Knutsford Gate Entrance and the showground between 8.30am and 7.30pm on Wednesday to Saturday and from 8.30am to 6pm on the Sunday.  The Knutsford Gate Entrance is a ten minute walk from Knutsford Railway Station.

Knutsford Railway Station is on the Mid Cheshire Line - a scenic route from Chester to Manchester via Northwich, Altrincham and Stockport.  Northern Rail operates this service.

From London and the South East take a Virgin Trains service to Stockport and change for Knutsford.

From Liverpool take the Merseyrail service to Chester and change for Knutsford.

From Birmingham and the West Midlands take a CrossCountry service to Stockport and change for Knutsford.

From Sheffield and South Yorkshire take a service to Stockport and change for Knutsford.

From West Wales and Shrewsbury take the Arriva Trains Wales service to Manchester and change at Stockport

From North Wales take a Virgin Trains or Arriva Trains Wales service to Chester and change for Knutsford.

From Manchester Airport take a local service to Manchester and change for Knutsford.

From Liverpool John Lennon Airport, which is served by Liverpool South Parkway Railway Station, take the East Midlands Trains Norwich service and change at Stockport for Knutsford.
