Dorothy Clive Garden

About the Dorothy Clive Garden

This magical 12 acre garden was created in 1939, when Colonel Harry Clive began his transformation of a disused Victorian quarry for his wife Dorothy.

Today the garden boasts a spectacular woodland waterfall, thousands of spring bulbs, dazzling azaleas and Rhodendrons in late May. Fabulous summer border, a scree and watergarden.

Homemade baking and light lunches available in the delightful tearoom, with fabulous views of Staffordshire and Shropshire from the tearoom lawn.
