Digital Photography Course

National Waterways Museum

27th February 2011

Get the most our of the various settings on your digital camera ....

Composition - How to See & Compose Great Images

These are skills that anyone can learn - you don't have to have any special artistic talent, just apply the basic rules and if you already have a good eye for an image, we'll show you how you can become even more creative.

This workshop explains how you can use various features of your camera to influence your final image and how to 'see' the image before you set up your camera.

You will have two practical photography sessions and an opportunity to review your images.

The National Waterways Museum, Ellesmere Port, is sited on the banks of the Mersey, overlooking the Manchester Ship Canal and the city of Liverpool on the far side of the estuary.

Our classroom for the day is in the Tom Rolt conference centre, housed in a beautifully refurbished 19th century port building adjacent to the dock complex - fully modern facilities with lots of original character.
