North Eastern Express Rail Tour

Departing Mid Cheshire Line Stations, Stockport , Reddish South and Stalybridge

MCRUA Railtours are pleased to announce their next excursion will be to Darlington, Durham and Newcastle with boarding at most Mid Cheshire Line station, Stockport, Reddish South and Stalybridge.

There is an optional trip to The Beamish Living Museum of the North.

Alight at Darlington and you can visit Shildon (the cradle of railways). The service then continues to Durham for its cathedral, university & riverside. The train's final destination is Newcastle for its Quayside area, bridges and many other places of interest.

The special excursion will comprise Mk II air-conditioned coaches hauled by a Class 67 diesel locomotive.

First class service is arranged around tables for two (supplement payable) and four. Standard class is around tables for four. There will be a buffet car and trolley service.

Each passenger will have a reserved seat and a detailed route description.
