Enjoy a peek behind the scenes at this new free exhibition
Vets - The Inside Story, is open to anyone visiting the Zoo.
Visitors can see high tech equipment used to diagnose, treat and care for the Zoo’s 7000 animals.
Members of the public can talk to one of the Education staff in the exhibit, read about real life case studies, learn how to tell if an elephant is pregnant, how to take a tiger’s temperature and hear why the Zoo’s Animal Health Centre examines nearly 2000 poo samples a year.
